Innovative home heating expert Boiler Plan is to create 40 new jobs over the next 12 months as part of its long-term strategy to achieve a turnover of £30m.
Qualified heating engineer Ian Henderson founded the company – currently due to generate £7m in sales - from scratch three years ago as part of a one-man mission to fundamentally change the way boilers are sold and installed.
Recognising that the unplanned expense of replacing an ageing or broken boiler leaves many homeowners struggling to pay upfront, it provides a range of affordable repayment plans to cover both the cost and installation of boiler and flue.
Its most popular option means the monthly repayment cost is offset by the energy savings delivered by a new generation of highly efficient boilers – making it a cost-neutral purchase.
Boiler plan, which is headquartered in Cramlington, Northumberland, has undergone a period of rapid expansion and now covers almost 70 per cent of the UK.
It has a core staff of 62 together with a national network of qualified installers and Gas Safe-registered engineers based across seven regions, giving customers the reassurance of dealing with trusted local tradespeople.
Boiler Plan, which also has an office in Goole, East Yorkshire, is currently looking to create an extra 40 jobs within its digital, engineering and installation teams over the next 12 months to meet the rising demand.
As well as domestic customers, it also deals with housing organisations and businesses, as well as offering a one-off repair service and range of annual service plans.
Its digital team is able to provide a quote within 60 seconds and a boiler, covered by a warranty of up to 10 years, can be installed within 48 hours. Payment plans are provided by Barclays and all work is fully guaranteed.
